Custer Carriage House in Downtown

This beautiful home was built in 1923. It once served as the carriage house and living quarters for the nearby Custer house, but now its a stand-alone property. It is centrally located just three blocks from the downtown square and within walking distance of many restaurants and Knox College.

The Space

This is a small space, 1100 square feet. downstairs is the newly remodeled kitchen, and living area with a large smart TV (no cable) and comfortable leather couch along with other seating. Upstairs there are two small bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, a small newly remodeled bathroom, and an office space. It’s in a charming and quiet old neighborhood, with large trees, and many Victorian homes. The stairs are steep, and the space is not suitable for small children, or people who have trouble with stairs.

Guest Access

You have the entire house to relax and enjoy. There is a small backyard, and a large front yard. the side yard to the right of the driveway is not part of the property. Please stay to the left of the driveway. You may park close to the house completely to the left of the garage, or on the street, but never park in the driveway. Respect the property lines and do not drive around the driveway, back out only.
